Tees Music Alliance – Tees Music Alliance have a project called #digitaltenderness which aims to improve wellbeing, tackle mental health issues and reduce isolation through creativity that’s kindly funded by The National Lottery Community Fund – made possible by the generosity of National Lottery players.  As part of this programme, they’ve created a Christmas Community project and have asked for Creative Darlington help in promoting this locally. They are working with local actresses and storytellers to bring a performance and interactive, creative community workshops to Tees Valley.

Tees Music Alliance are offering five free workshops across the Tees Valley area – the Darlington workshop will be held at Saturday 29 November 2025 at 2.30pm at St William and St Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Darlington Ss William and Francis de Sales – Diocese of Hexham & Newcastle, where attendees will be part of the creation process for ‘The Story We Made Together At Christmas’ performance by creating props, learning songs in the show, and be part of creating a magical Christmas Story which will be performed by Samantha Wright & Emma Guppy (so people attending these earlier workshops can contribute to without performing themselves!).
