Darlington has a rich theatre heritage and a brilliant theatre offer, with brilliant individuals and companies living or working here now. Darlington Hippodrome opened following restoration in November 2017 and The Hullabaloo, the new of home of pioneering company Theatre Hullabaloo, opened in December 2017. Luxi brought the fantastic Jabberwocky Market programme to Darlington between 2013 and 2018, and Darlington based ODDMANOUT have shared new productions, including Encountering the Other, in Darlington.
