Creative Darlington has supported a variety of projects and work led by Debbie Harbin and the D-Project, which secured first Arts Council England Grants for the Arts, then Project Funding, then Developing Your Creative Practice support:

- workshops with local children and research and development work involving Mike McGrother and other artists, informing the development of the D Project’s Solas Fae, which was shared in Darlington’s cattle market
- the tour of a fantastic performance Hedge, including performances in Darlington
- a programme of work, including engagement with Thinking Practice, to inform the D-Project’s development
