No project as such, I just enjoy getting out and about with my camera photographing mostly wildlife in and around the outskirts of our town, Darlington. It’s amazing the varying amount of wildlife that can be found if you take the time to look while out and about. This Grey Heron had taken up temporary residency of the middle island of the South Park lake.
My second submission for the competition is another image of the wildlife in and around the outskirts of Darlington.
This image was taken on a summer afternoon, of two young roe deer ( only the tips of the second deer are visible )in the South Burdon Plantation just on the outskirts of town.
An inquisitive fox, wondering who/what had woken him up.
I took this one early one summer morning very close to Barmpton Village
